Have you updated you KDE Neon distro (or others KDE Based Distros) and Dolphin, the file manager, opens with an error and you cannot use it?
In my case the error was:
kf5.kio.core: couldn’t create slave: “klauncher said: Error loading ‘/usr/lib/qt/plugins/kf5/kio/file.so’.”
Fixing is simple: open a terminal window and write this command (without root permissions):
dbus-launch dolphin
Dolphin will open a new window and it will run very well

Just restart KDE (logout and login again) fix the problem 😉
But If you cannot reboot you can launch the command as above.
Don’t upgrade if you cannot reboot 🙂
Eh eh eh… Usually I don’t need to reboot
